CCP is looking for an Engineering Manager who will be responsible for the personnel management of a team of software programmers in CCP's Shanghai office. This team will be working to build AAA quality games as an independent studio working in close collaboration with CCP's North American and Icelandic offices.
Responsibilities include:
- Project management
- Facilitating communication with other offices and hiring and training
- Solves semi-complex problems in effective ways.
Required Experience/skills:
- 10 years of software development experience
- 5 years acting as manager of a team of software developers
- Working knowledge of one or more programming languages
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese
- Experience managing projects in a global environment
- Experience in the game development industry
- Experience with Scrum and agile development
