Each year CCP participates in various game industry events around the world. Apart from E3 and GDC there is a chance to meet CCP at various places around the world.

	Event: E3 Expo 2009 Dates: June 2-4, 2009 Location: LA Convention Center – Los Angeles, CA E3 Expo is North America's premier computer and video game trade show, drawing tens of thousands of professionals to experience the future of interactive entertainment. 	Event: MIT Business in Gaming 2009 Dates: May 8th, 2009 Location: Cambridge, MA The theme for this year’s event: “Marketing and Distribution in the Digital Age”, explores the current evolution of the gaming industry as it is set to exceed those of both the music and movie industries. 	Event: FedCon Dates: May 1-3, 2009 Location: Shanghai International Convention Center - Shanghai, China Europe's biggest STAR TREK and SCI-FI MEDIA event. The show is attended by sci-fi fans from 25-30 different countries around the world. Contrary to many science fiction events originating in the 1960s and 1980s, which were orientated on sci-fi literature, FedCon? focuses on movies and television. 	Event: Game Developer’s eXchange 2009 Dates: April 2009th -17th, 2009 Location: Savannah, Georgia Tim Lindsey will be discussing his experience in the game industry specifically covering his transition from environment artist to level designer and how this impacts designing levels with an eye towards story telling via visually communicative environments. 	Event: MIPTV Media Market 2009 Dates: March 30 – April 3, 2009 Location: Cannes, France MIPTV Media Market is an event which takes place annually in Cannes, using the facilities and infrastructure which the town has developed over the years to host other important events such as the Cannes Film Festival amongst other events. It is essentially a content event for co-producing, buying, selling, financing and distributing entertainment content. 	Event: Game Developer Conference 2009 Dates: March 23rd -27th 2009 Location: Moscone Center, San Francisco, CA GDC is the annual game developer conference focused on fun and networking for industry professionals. 	Event: DICE Summit 2009 Dates: February 17th -20th 2009 Location: Red Rock Casino, Las Vegas NV D.I.C.E. (Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain) Summit is an annual multi-day gathering of videogame executives held in Las Vegas, Nevada. Established in 2002 by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences, the conference is host to the annual Entertainment Software Association's Interactive Achievement Awards. The conference differs from other industry conferences in its emphasis on the business and production end of the industry, with a focus on trends and innovations in videogame design. 	Event: Games Focus Germany Dates: January 29th - 30th 2009 Location:Hanover, Germany Associate Producer – Eve Online, Arend Sthurmann, will be presenting a speech on Game Development - strategy, best practices, experiences and new methods found within EVE Online. 	Event: International CES 2009 Dates: January 8th -11th 2009 Location: Las Vegas, Nevada The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is sponsored by the Consumer Electronics Association. It is a trade-only show and is not open to the general public. At the show, many previews of products are introduced and new products are announced. 	Event: MacWorld 2009 Dates: January 5th - 9th 2009 Location: Moscone Convention Center – San Francisco, CA Macworld Conference & Expo is a five day celebration that will educate, entertain, and immerse people in the Mac community. With two full halls of exhibitors, Macworld offers access to hundreds of Mac products and services, paired with expert advice, demonstrations and instruction. Macworld conference programs feature industry leading minds, presenting cutting edge product training on a variety of topics.
